Manchester United are continuing to stall on new contract talks with Edinson Cavani.
According to ESPN, United will wait until Cavani is recovered from his latest injury before deciding whether to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
United are happy with his progress since joining in the summer but would have to pay Cavani nearly €2m if they want to cut his stay short at the end of the season.
Cavani is apparently wanted by Boca Juniors, but is happy at United and is open to remaining at the club for another season.
His deal expires in June.
