CCL: Edjomariegwe’s goal can’t save Sudanese giants Al Merreikh

Tony Edjomariegwe has opened his goals’ account for the new Sudanese club Al Merreikh on the continent in a 3-1 loss at AS Vita Club of DR Congo.

According to scorenigeria, the former Shooting Stars left winger scored in the 31st minute to draw his team level at 1-1.

Al Merreikh finished the bottom of Group A with two points.

The 28-year-old player has featured for Crown FC, Kano Pillars, Kwara United, 3SC, Nasarawa United (all in Nigeria), Olympic club de Safi and Maghreb Tetoun (both in Morocco)
