Lobi Stars have named a strong 23 man squad for their CAF Champions League Group Stage tie against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco slated for the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
The Pride of Benue played two league matches against Enyimba and Kwara United where they amassed four points to prepare for the North Africans and rhrt have picked all the 18 players that featured in those two games and added five more players.
John Lawrence was not involved in both league games played last week and having completed his two games ban with CAF the goalkeeper has been recalled back to the team along with Chile Azu, Cletus Itodo and Mba Ezekiel who was excused from their last games on compassionate ground.
Lawrence, Olufemi Kayode and Ospina Egbe are the three goalkeepers while Bashiru Monsuru, Ebube Duru, Solomon Kwambe, Chile Azu and Bunde Moses are to serve as defenders.
The midfielders are Ejene Olisema, Yaya Kone, Kelly Kester, Dare Ojo, David Tyavkasse and Alex Aghahowa.
Samuel Mattias, Austin Ogunye, Najeem Olukokun, Michael Stephens are among the strikers that have been included to face Wydad Casablanca.

Lobi Stars are currently third in Group A with three points from two games. All the four teams in the group have three points each but goals difference but Wydad and Mamelodi Sundowns in the first and second positions respectively.
