Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi has joined the growing list of those heaping praises on Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech, even though he would have wanted him to rescind his decision.
Speaking at the NBA London Game, Iwobi who should be fielded for Saturday’s crucial match against Chelsea, said Cech’s decision to quit the game at the end of the season came as a surprise to him.
According to him, Cech could still continue for another four years judging from the way he conducted himself in training and matches.
“I was [surprised] because he always looks good in training and every time he plays in a match.
“When he announced he was retiring I was like ‘wow, you could have another three or four years the way that you’re playing’.

“But we have to respect his decision and we’ll have to do our best to make sure he ends his career on a high.”
The former Chelsea shot-stopper who has spent 20 years in the game said it was the right to leave the stage for others to take over.
