Odey called it a dream come true to be presented with a chance to play in the glamorous club competition and that he will relish the prospect of facing the club that is very dear to his heart, Liverpool and the other two clubs in their determined zeal to grab one of the three places that will guarantee a progression in either the competition or the Europa League.
“It is dream come true for me to have the opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League,” Odey told Sportinglife.ng.
“I have been watching the competition for several years now and participating as a player now is like a dream come true for me.

“Football comes with ups and downs. I believe that we are going to try our best against Liverpool, Napoli and Salzburg and we shall be targeting a place among the top three at the end of the group stage
games.
