Chelsea begin Kante contract extension negotiations
According to information from Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have offered N’Golo Kante a new contract to extend his current deal, which terminates in 2023.
N’Golo Kante was one Chelsea’s most important players in their Champions League success last season, winning man of the match in both semi-final legs against Real Madrid and the eventual final against Man City.
The Blues are conscious of his importance and thus want to secure as soon as possible the renewal of his current contract, which terminates in 2023.
As a result, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea directors are getting to work on the 30-year-old’s new deal.

According to the Italian’s information, the club will offer Kante a new contract, and plan to initiate negotiations with the player.
However, the process could take several months, but Chelsea are confident that they will reach an agreement as the Frenchman is happy at the club and the relationship between the parties is excellent.
