Chelsea face Juventus, Man City battle PSG in UCL group stages

The draw for the 2021/22 Champions League groups stages is complete

The four Premier League competing in this season’s Champions League have learned their opponents for the group stage following the draw in Istanbul.

Manchester City were the first name out in the draw in Group A and were dealt the toughest draw of the English sides. They face a mouthwatering double-header against Paris Saint-Germain, with Lionel Messi set to face old Barcelona boss, Pep Guardiola, and will also play RB Leipzig and Club Brugge.

Liverpool were also dealt a potentially tricky draw. They will be in Group B and will play against Atletico Madrid, who ended their most recent reign as European Champions at Anfield in 2020and also Porto and AC Milan.

Manchester United were drawn in Group F with their Europa League final conquerers, Villarreal, as well as Atalanta and Young Boys.

Reigning champions Chelsea are in Group H along with dethroned Italian champions, Juventus, Zenit St. Petersburg and Swedish side, Malmo.
