These players are all on loan until June 30, but because the season is extended due to the three-month COVID-19 lockdown, the clubs must negotiate an extension for July and August.

Inter director Beppe Marotta confirmed on several occasions they were having difficulty negotiating the extensions with Chelsea and Manchester United.

Now Sky Sport Italia claim the clubs are content to allow these players to take part in the remaining Serie A games.

However, they are putting roadblocks down for the Europa League in August.

It’s reported they fear strengthening direct rivals for the tournament, as victory in the Europa League can provide a spot in the Champions League.
