Nigeria and Leicester midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi made a total of 58 touches on the ball against Chelsea in Sunday’s premier league clash at the Stamford Bridge.

According to wolexis.com’s statistics, the player who was on for 90 minutes made four interceptions, 58 touches on the ball, three tackles, nine total duels.

The player who got the equaliser to make up for his mistake which led to Chelsea’s goal has also been hailed by Super Eagles manager for his bravery.

Rohr informed Sportinglife.ng that he watched the match from his home in France stressing that he knew that Ndidi will strive to score the goal: ”For Ndidi, every game is like a Cup final. Ndidi rarely commits such mistakes. Of course, he is human. once in a while such slips occur. I’m happy for Ndidi that the game wasn’t lost.”
