The Greek giants Olympiacos have released the former Al Ain striker after struggling to regain top
form.

The 31-year-old is now a free agent this summer despite having a year remaining in his contract with
the Legends.

According to source, the former Karabukspor of Turkey speedy striker is already attracting big interests from unnamed Chinese Super League Club with a whooping offer of £5m per annum, while a top Japanese club is also in contention with £7m offers.

As it is, the decision to either remain in Europe or play in Asia continent remains with the striker
who has already vacated his Athens home since he has been threatened with guns in Greece.

Emenike’s fallout with Olympiakos started when hoodlums burgled his home and stole away valuable
properties as well as constant threats to his life when he refused to play with injuries as instructed
by the club coach.

“He’s taking time on his next move, there are two clubs from China that want to pay him £5m per annum,”
said his close pal from United Kingdom.

“One of the clubs wanted him last year before he went on to sign for Olympiakos because he wants to
remain in Europe, they offered him £10m last year. They have called him again but Emenike is really
taking his time to consider his family and other important things.”

Emenike joined Olympiacos from Fenerbahce in July 2017 and was sent out to Las Palmas on loan where he
didn’t play a single game in the second part of last season.
