Chukwueze, Dele-Bashiru listed for Euro young player of the year

Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze has made the list of players for the European player award which is organised by Italian newspaper, Tuttosport.  Also on the list is Flying Eagles midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru.

Chukwueze has been nominated following his outing with the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt while Bashiru’s performance at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland earned him a place.

The award is for the most promising player under 21 years of age in Europe.

Chukwueze is still with Spanish La Liga side Villarreal while Dele now plays for Watford after leaving Manchester City.

They will compete with Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, Justin Kluivert, Ibrahim Konate, Mason Mount among others for the prestigious award.
