Conf Cup: Rangers, Enyimba get South Africa, Togo challenge
Continental Championship campaigners Rangers international and Enyimba FC face will Togo and South African challenge in the play-offs respectively.
The two Nigerian clubs were pitched against ASCK of Togo and TX Galaxy of South Africa respectively following the draws released by CAF Wednesday evening. Rangers qualified for this stage after edging out AS Pelican in a two legged encounter while Enyimba crashed out of the CAF Champions league to fall back on the second-tier continental championship. ESAE Football club of Benin Will however wait till October 24th to know whether to face either Zamalek of Egypt or Generation foot of Senegal.
The second leg tie between both teams could not hold earlier and had to be rescheduled by CAF for October 24. Some other scintillating fixtures in the championship include Ashate Kontoko of Ghana versus FC San Pedro of Cote d Ivoire, Gor Mahia of Kenya versus DC Moteme Pembe of DR Congo and Green Eagles of Zambia versus Hassania US Agadir of Morocco.
The first leg of the two legged encounters will be played on October 27th while the second leg comes up November 3rd .
