The Nerazzurri need a boost after one point from their last two games against Bologna and Hellas Verona.

“I simply told the lads that I was satisfied with the performance in Verona, so we are on the right track,” Conte said on Inter TV.

“We must continue doing what we’re doing, trying to limit the errors a bit more. We are paying a heavy price for important individual mistakes lately and the moment it happens, we drop points.

“Having said all of that, I believe we are on the right track, that of playing at a high tempo, pressing and pushing many men forward to join the attack. It’s a sign of my style of football that our last nine goals have come from nine different players, because we increased the attacks using many players to make us more unpredictable.

“Torino have in my view more quality than their current position in the table would suggest and they certainly started the season with different objectives. They’ll come to San Siro looking for points, but we want to win.”

Lukaku went off during the 2-2 draw with Hellas Verona, suffering from a knock to the back and slight muscular issue.

“Romelu wasn’t in great shape yesterday, he’s better today and I hope he is in the squad. We know how important he is, and it’s nothing worrying, but it’s only right to evaluate and ensure we take zero risks, because we don’t want to lose Lukaku for the rest of the season,” continued Conte.

“Nicolò Barella is getting better, we hope to have him soon, maybe even in Rome. Stefano Sensi is also on the road to recovery, but Matias Vecino is out of action again.

“Victor Moses is doing fine, he’s raring to go, but again I’ll evaluate with the medical staff whether it’s better to risk it or hold off for a few more days.”
