Coppa Italia: Calvarese to handle Inter-Juve semifinal clash
Italian Referees Association has announced that Gianpaolo Calvarese has been given the first leg between Inter and Juventus in the Coppa Italia, with Michael Fabbri overseeing Napoli-Atalanta on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
The 37-year-old Fabbri will oversee his first Atalanta match this term, but has already been in charge of Napoli this month.
The referee was at the whistle when Napoli lost 3-1 to Hellas Verona on January 24, when he handed out five yellow cards in the match.
Calvarese has been in charge of Inter 16 times previously and has overseen 14 matches with Juventus, but never been at the whistle when the two giants meet.
Meanwhile Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio has reportedly recovered from the knee injury and returned to training with the Nerazzurri.
Il Corriere dello Sport reports the Italy international, who was injured because of a late challenge by Mehdi Leris this month, has recovered from the injury to the medial collateral ligament.

The newspaper reveals he participated in training and showed signs of having overcome the injury in record time.
An important recovery for coach Antonio Conte, as D’Abrosio has played 16 competitive games for the Beneamata
