Nigeria defender, Kenneth Omeruo has admitted his fears facing the duo of Diego Costa and Antonie Grizmann when Leganes host Atletico Madrid in a La Liga clash on Saturday.
The Leganes right-back has come up against some of the best attackers in the world icluding Lionel Messi, but admitted that it won’t be easy stopping both attackers as a result of their goal scoring abilities.
“I am looking forward to the game. We are playing at home and so we have an advantage, but it won’t be easy against the likes of Diego and Griezmann,” he said.
Nevertheless, the defender would be looking forward to another impressive outing after warming his way into the heart of team manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
Omeruo who joined the modest La Liga side on loan from Chelsea this summer has started six games including a Copa Del Rey debut match against Rayo Vallecano on Tuesday which ended 2-2.
Leganes are 18th in La Liga with eight points from 10 matches, while Atletico are fifth with 19 points.
