CR Belouizdad coach applauds Akwa United’s show in CAFCL
CR Belouizdad of Algeria coach Beketi Karim says they have put their CAF Champions League preliminary first leg defeat to Akwa behind while congratulating the NPFL champs.
CR Belouizdad lost 1-0 to Akwa United in well contested encounter at the Nest of Champions on Sunday.
Akwa United’s Captain, Friday Ubong scored the only goal of the game in the 87th minutes to give the Nigerian Champions slender advantage going into the second leg in Algiers.
Speaking at the post match conference, Karim, gave credit to Akwa United for the hard fought win, especially under but he’s insisted they are still very much in the game.
