Cristiano Ronaldo Jr earns first Portugal U-15 call-up

Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son has earned his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, 14, is currently playing at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, where he resides with his father, who joined the Pro League club in December 2022.

Portugal legend Ronaldo, 40, expressed his pride on social media, sharing a photo of the squad list that included his son’s name and writing, “Proud of you, son.”

The young Ronaldo has been selected for a youth tournament in Croatia, scheduled to run from May 13 to 18. Portugal will face Japan, Greece, and England in the competition.

Cristiano Jr has followed in his father’s footsteps, having previously been part of youth setups at Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo Sr, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, continues to represent Portugal at senior level and holds the record for the most goals in men’s international football with 136 goals.
