Crystal Palace star Eze apologises for attending QPR clash

Crystal Palace star, Eberechi Eze, has apologised for attending a Queens Park Rangers game.

The young Palace star was seen in the stands for the game and was pictured not wearing a mask at times, despite current COVID-19 restrictions.

Eze has admitted to making an error of judgment, and Palace, who are said to be furious over the incident, have issued a statement.

Palace are not only happy with Eze, but QPR for allowing an ex-player to break the rules to see his old team.

The South London club said: “Whilst we recognise Eberechi’s desire to support his former team mates, he accepts it was an error of judgement to attend the match.

“We were also concerned to see pictures of Eberechi not wearing a mask at certain moments and are speaking to him about these apparent lapses, which will be dealt with internally.”
