David Moyes set for emotional return to Everton

David Moyes is set to return to Everton as new manager.

The Times says Moyes appears set for a sensational return as Everton manager.

It comes after the favourite to replace Marco Silva, Vitor Pereira, pulled out of the running on Tuesday to concentrate on his current job in China.

Moyes left Everton in 2013 after 11 years in charge of the club to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, but lasted less than 12 months.

If appointed his first game would mark a return to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
