Delta Force head coach, Chukwuma Agbo has resigned as the team’s tactician after their unimpressive results during the NNL Super 8.
Agbo stated that he was drafted in to safe the Delta State team from the relegation zone but that they were able to finish among the top two that handed them the ticket to the playoff.
He said he took responsibility for their less than stellar performance and that he is throwing in the towel to enable him concentrate on other challenges in his career.
The former Enugu Rangers coach thanked the management of Delta Force and the Chairman of the Sports Commission, Tony Okowa for the opportunity given him to work with the club.
Delta Force finished last in Group B with three losses out of three games behind Bendel Insurance, Remo Stars and 3SC.
