Denmark star Jonas Wind may be sent packing from Euro 2020 on Monday night, but his Miss Denmark finalist and model girlfriend Laila Hasanovic will be waiting for him at home
Jonas Wind has a battle on his hands to reach the Euro 2020 knockout stages with Denmark on Monday night.
The Danes are gearing up for their final group outing against Russia, which they need to win by two goals to stand any chance of progressing to the next round.
Kasper Hjulman’s men also need Belgium to claim victory against Finland if they are to get out of the group stage and book their place in the last-16.
However, if Denmark are dumped out of the competition at the first hurdle, Wind, 22, can rest assured knowing he’ll be going home to stunning girlfriend Laila Hasanovic.
The Copenhagen striker, who started Denmark’s opening Euro 2020 outing against Finland,, has been dating Hasanovic, 20, for the last couple of years.
His model and influencer girlfriend was a Miss Denmark finalist back in 2019 and has amassed close to 90,000 followers on Instagram.
Last year Hasanovic even moved into a house with Wind, who left home for the very first time at the age of 21.
He told the Mediano’s ‘Audi Talks’ podcast: “I am moving away from home for the first time with my girlfriend. It is part of the development to stand on my own two feet.
“I have my girlfriend with me, so I’m not completely alone.
“It will be special, but also part of the development. After all, I’m still young. It’s part of growing up. I have lived at home until now.”
Wind is a product of Copenhagen’s academy, emerging from their youth ranks to make his senior debut away at Atletico Madrid in February 2018.
Should a transfer abroad come to fruition in the near future, the youngster says Hasanovic will be prepared to move with him.
“She is ready to go abroad,” he said. “We’ve talked about it a little bit. If it becomes relevant one day, then I’m sure she would like to join.”
