Super Eagles striker, Cyriel Dessers, made his debut for Feyenoord in their UEFA Conference League game against Maccabi Haifa on Tuesday.
Recalled Dessers joined the former Dutch Eredivisie Champions on a season-long loan from Belgian Jupiler League outfit KRC Genk in August.
The 26-year-old striker resumed training last week but was unable to feature in the league game against PSV Eindhoven on Saturday.
Dessers was finally named in coach Arse Slot’s match-day squad for the first time against the Israeli giants on Tuesday evening.
He started the match from the bench and made his bow in the 76th minute when he came on for Bryan Linssen.
He was unable to mark his debut for Feyenoord with a goal as the Maccabi Haifa held on for a 0-0 draw at home.
