Dortmund preparing for Erling Haaland exit

 

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly drawn up a list of possible targets to replace Erling Braut Haaland after accepting that the striker could leave in the summer.

Haaland remains one of the most sought-after players in world football after scoring 43 goals in 44 appearances since joining BVB at the start of last year.

Premier League quartet Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are all said to be interested in the Norway international, while Real Madrid have also been linked.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke recently suggested that the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic could force the German side to cash in on Haaland.

According to Eurosport, plans are already in place to bring in a direct replacement for the 20-year-old should he indeed move on.

Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri, who has 13 goals in La Liga this season, is rumoured to be one of those Dortmund are eyeing up.

No single day passes these days without story of possible transfer of Haaland kissing the headlines.

All the top four clubs in the English Premier league are said to be interested aside top two clubs in some other leagues. Pundits believe it a only a matter of time before the beautiful bride shifts base.
