Dortmund react to Liverpool winning Premier League title

Borussia Dortmund brilliantly reacted to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool winning the Premier League last night.

The Reds were confirmed as English champions after Chelsea beat Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

Klopp’s men cannot be caught with seven games remaining as social media went into overdrive.

Fans and clubs congratulated Liverpool on becoming Premier League winners, including Klopp’s former side Borussia Dortmund who shared a picture of their old manager and ex-player Christian Pulisic.

They saluted Liverpool’s title victory before uploading an old pic of Klopp and Pulisic.

“Congratulations to former coach Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool on winning the Premier League!” The Bundesliga team wrote on Twitter.

 

 

Pulisic was instrumental for Chelsea as he scored his side’s opening goal during their stunning victory.

After guiding Liverpool to their first ever Premier League title, Klopp gave an emotional interview.

“I have no words,” he told Sky Sports.

“It’s the best thing I can imagine and more than I could have ever dreamed of. It’s unbelievable. Much more than I ever thought would be possible.

“It is an incredible achievement from my players… and a pure joy for me to coach them.”

Liverpool, who have won an impressive 28 league games this season, resume their incredible campaign at Manchester City on Thursday.
