DSS returns to the glasshouse to restore peace

Operatives of the Department of the State Security Service (DSS) early hours of Thursday returned to the football house in full force, a place they vacated on Wednesday morning to forestall any breakdown of law and order in the premises.

The Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Ikpeme was not allowed into the Nff secretariat as he was forced back into his car to leave the secretariat.

The staffers who pleaded not to be mentioned said they were tired of this drama as they can no longer concentrate in doing their legitimate duties as civil servants.

“We come here everyday without knowing what to do, we just seat down washing television and no one to give instruction or take instruction from. Frankly this is not the best of time for us. Everyday is either Police or DSS. We are praying that this crisis should be reslolved, let normalcy return to the glasshouse”.

Though the workers confessed that unlike before, no molestation or intimidation from the operatives But only the identified staff were allowed into the secretariat.

As at the time of filing this report, the federtion’s second in command is yet to be seen at the football house.
