D’Tigers get new head coach ahead FIBA World Cup Qualifiers

Nigeria’s Male Senior Basketball National Team D’Tigres will be handled by Julius Nwosu to the upcoming FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.

The former D’Tigers and NBA star was handed the coaching role for the first window of the African Qualifiers and he will replace Mike Brown for the tournament.

The 51-year-old left the shore with the team for Angola — the venue for the qualifiers on Tuesday.

Nwosu will become the fourth coach to lead Nigeria since 2015 after Will Voigt guided the West Africans to their first African title.
