“In as much as we love our nation dearly at least we supposed to get what is due to us since we have played our own part well and got qualification. We respect our President Amaju Pinnick that’s why we agreed to play against South Africa and we know that he has been running up and down to get funds to pay us. This is the time the Federal Government should come to our rescue and make us happy at least we are representing the country. This kind of treatment is not fair to us at all “, the player who was emotional while talking to Sportinglife.ng disclosed.

Sportinglife.ng also discovered that the Eagles coaches including the Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr and other members of the backroom staff of the Super Eagles have not been paid three outstanding bonuses which included the away matches to Seychelles, Libya and now South Africa.
Although the coaches and backroom staff couldn’t voice their displeasure out because the NFF President Amaju Pinnick pleaded with them and also assured them that he would do everything humanly possible to get funds to pay them. But they are not happy with the situation at all.
