Eagles captain Backs Chelsea To Win FA Cup

Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has declared his total support for Chelsea to defeat Manchester United
and win the FA Cup final to erase the painful memories of  last year’s final. Saturday’s final will be the Blues 12th final.

The ex-Chelsea midfielder who is expected in the Super Eagles camp on Monday posted his good luck
message to the Blues who are gunning for their eighth title on his Twitter page on Friday.

“Wanted to wish @ChelseaFC all the best for tomorrow. Go and get another @EmiratesFACup!” Mikel tweeted
as he displayed a picture of himself and Chelsea teammates celebrating the FA Cup trophy in 2007.

Before leaving for China to pitch tent with Tianjin Teda last year, Mikel spent 11 years at the Stamford Bridge and made 374 appearances.

It will be the third final for both sides having previously met in the 1994 and 2007 finals with each winning the title.  Recalled that Chelsea lost 2-1 to Arsenal in last year’s final with Victor Moses sent off on the night.
