Super Eagles chief coach, Gernot Rohr, has set his sights on leading Nigeria to the Africa Cup of Nations glory in Cameroon.
Rohr’s contract is due to expire next year and he hopes for a renewal as he is desperate to guide the Super Eagles to 2021 Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
“It will be exciting for me to win the 2021 AFCON title with Nigeria. That’s my desire, and I will be the most excited.”
“So winning is just the beginning. I can’t be excited until we win the title in 2021.”
However, Nigeria began its 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on a positive note with a 2-1 home victory against Beninon Wednesday, and will face Lesotho on Sunday to make it two wins from the two games.

The Franco-German coach led Nigeria to a second-round exit in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and a third-place finish in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
