Eagles defender injured, out for two weeks

Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has become the second national player to be injured ahead of next
month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles.

The Buraspor of Turkey defender joins Tyrone Ebuehi who will be out for six weeks after tearing his
cruciate ligament of his left knee this week in a Pre Season game this week

Luckliy for Abdullahi, reports from his club reveal that the injury sustained by the player is not to
serious but he would be out be for two weeks to rest the leg.

Nigeria are away to Seychelles on September 7 at the restart of the AFCON qualifiers.
