Eagles striker dumps Greek Club Aris Thessaloniki

Striker Brown Ideye has reportedly ended his stay at Greek Super League club Aris Thessaloniki, after just twelve months with the club.

The 31-year-old decided to move on from the Yellow-Blacks after his current deal expired on June 30th, 2020.

Reports revealed that the former Dynamo Kiev man rejected a new offer that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2019-2020 season.

Ideye joined the club last summer after leaving Chinese Super Lig side Tianjin Teda, where he endured a torrid spell.

Ideye has scored 12 goals from 30 appearances for Ariz in all competitions but failed to help the club claim any trophy as they were knocked out of Greek Cup in the semifinals.

They also failed to live up to expectations in the Greek Super six as lost 2-0 to PAOK last weekend.

The club will now prosecute their last three games of the season against Panathinaikos, AEK Athens, and Olympiakos without Brown Ideye.
