Eagles targets 2019 AFCON success-Pascal

Team Coordinator of the Super Eagles Patrick Pascal (MON) has told Sportinglife.ng that the main song in the mouth of all the players of the Super Eagles right now is to at least get to the final of the next Africa Cup of Nations holding next year in yet to be named venue by the Confederation of African Football.

Nigeria qualify for AFCON 2019
Since Nigeria qualified for the 2019 AFCON with a match to spare, underground planning and preparations have began Pascal has disclosed.
“I am very happy and confident to say that preparations have started underground for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations. What will even interests Nigerians is that the players are working very hard not to miss out from the competition.
” The regulars in the team want to keep their shirts while the new and young players in the team want to snatch shirts from the regulars which make the competition in the team very fierce and to be keenly contested.
“The Nigeria Football Federation I also doing their best as usual to provide the logistics needed for the team to succeed. As we speak the NFF has mapped out quality friendly matches for the team to play before the 2019 AFCON. The players have also vowed to win the last AFCON match against Seychelles”, Pascal disclosed to Sportinglife.ng.
