Eagles training :Osimhen pushing for AFCON debut
Victor Osimhen is pushing for a starting spot against Madagascar as he scored another goal in the practice session, a brilliant header that beat goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi at his far post.
The Sporting Charleroi striker has proved a handful to opposing defenders in the last two training sessions.
The former Golden Eaglets forward had an injury scare in the team’s training last Thursday when he went down after getting a knock and had to be treated by the medical crew.
Osimhen was able to shake off the injury to finish the session and still actively participated in training on Friday and Saturday to the relief of the technical crew of the squad.
