Leicester City secured a big win in the premier league against Brighton and Hove Albion but for Super Eagles star, Wilfred Ndidi it wasn’t all smiles as he saw red.

The highly rated midfielder picked up two yellow cards in the second half of the encounter but goals from talisman Jamie Vardy and Spaniard Vicente Iborra ensured that they ran out 2-0 winners on the day.

Ndidi received his first yellow when he fouled Jose Izquierdo inside the 18-yard box but Kasper Schmeichel denied Glenn Murray from the spot but the Nigerian was eventually sent-off by referee Chris Kavanagh for the second time this season in the 87th minute for a mis-timed challenge on Shane Duffy.

Kelechi Iheanacho returned to the pitch after missing Nigeria’s friendly against Serbia due to a fractured hand but he was an unused substitute for the former Premier League champions.

Leicester City are currently placed eighth on the premier league log with 43 points while Brighton sit 13th with 34points.
