Eagles vs Libya: Eagles are fit, spirit high- Rohr

The Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr is upbeat about the readiness of his players to deliver the goods by beating group E leaders Libya in Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations’ qualifier holding at the Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo.

According to the team’s coach, the fitness level and the high spirit displayed so far by the players in Uyo Cqmp in the couple of training sessions they had has given the Coach a real cause to believe that his team would emerge victorious in Saturday’s crucial battle against the Libya’s Mediterranean Knights.

“As a coach what matters most to us is the fitness level of the players we want to parade in a match. With what I have seen so far in the two training sessions we had on Wednesday and this morning and evening sessions (Thursday’s training sessions) I am very confident of a good match and victory against the visitors Libya.

” Another strong indication to victory on Saturday is the high spirit displayed by my players in training. You can see that they are very determined to win the match and I believe that can do it on Saturday.
