Edozie Will Get Better Quality At Man City – Coach

Manchester City of England new signing, Samuel Edozie has received hope of a new lease of life and better atmosphere for his development in The Citizens’ youth team, as coach of the side, Gareth Taylor says the lad will get better quality than what he had at his former club, Milwall.

Better Quality

Taylor said he was excited to get Edozie among an array of other young promising players into City’s under-18 squad, where the coach says all the new arrivals will get opportunities to further develop their talents and make marks in the main squad.

Prior to agreeing to terms with City, Edozie was tracked by a host of clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Everton, but he will now follow in the footsteps of other Nigerian-born kids, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Timi Sobowale, Felix Nmecha and Nathanael Ogbeta in the under-18 team at Etihad Stadium.

Taylor added that Edozie who played for the youth team of Millwall last season is an enterprising winger that is expected to stand out among the new players in The Citizens’ U18 side for the upcoming season.

The coach added: ”Sam Edozie has come from Millwall and it will be a different environment for him, Liam Delap has come from Derby.

“(That’s) another team that was really strongly last season while Oscar Bobb and Oscar Tarensi have also joined us from overseas.

”The new lads have settled well and that can only happen when you have a decent group that invites them in.
