EFL Cup: Iwobi named in starting X1 against Lincoln

Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi has been named on the starting list by Everton for tonight’s EFL Cup against Lincoln.

The Toffees announced their starting eleven on their Twitter handle ahead of the match billed for 7.45pm.

Iwobi came on as a substitute in Everton’s 2-0 loss to Aston Villa and did well to earn the praises of manager, Marco Silva.

His performance would have prompted to include on the list.

”The impact not just him [Iwobi] but Moise Kean had in the last game was really important for our team,” Silva was quoted as saying by Liverpool Echo.

“Unfortunately we didn’t score, but the impact was good and they understood what I expect from them.
