Elanga has concerns over Man Utd progress

Anthony Elanga has concerns over his progress at Manchester United.

Elanga is set to hold talks with Manchester United chiefs over his plans for next season – with the potential arrival of Jadon Sancho likely to reduce his chances of first-team football, according to the Daily Star.

Reports in Germany suggest United are close to wrapping up a deal for the England winger after making a breakthrough in negotiations with Borussia Dortmund this week.

Elanga, 19, put pen to paper on a new United contract in March and followed it up by scoring his first goal for the club in their final-day win away at Wolves.

Sancho joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad will only push Elanga further down the pecking order, meaning a loan move would surely be on the cards.
