Emery: Iwobi will be available for Bournemouth game

Arsenal coach Unai Emery has revealed that the injury to Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi is not serious as first thought.

Iwobi limped off the pitch in the second half during Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League encounter.

The Nigerian international provided assist in the Gunners’ second goal which was scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

In a post-match reaction, Emery said Iwobi only picked up a knock, hoping that he would be available for selection for Wednesday’s game against AFC Bournemouth.
