England and Man City keeper Roebuck signs new deal

England goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck has signed a new three-year deal at Manchester City, the Women’s Super League club have announced.

The 21-year-old, who has been with City since 2015, helped them win the FA Cup for the last two years and the League Cup in 2019.

She claimed the inaugural Women’s Super League Golden Glove award last term after keeping 10 clean sheets in 16 appearances, and was subsequently among the nominees for the Best FIFA women’s goalkeeper accolade.

Roebuck, a training player in England’s 2019 Women’s World Cup squad, has five senior caps to date.
