Eniola Aluko leaves Juventus ladies after 18 months

 

Nigerian born former England international Eniola Aluko, has left Italian women side Juventus Ladies. The former Chelsea Ladies ace joined Juventus Ladies in June last year and has since made over 20 appearances for the side scoring 13 goals in the bargain.

Eniola who is elder sister to out of favour Super Eagles ace Sone Aluko disclosed that she is on her way back to base in Uk and is looking forward to new opportunities and challenges, thanked the clubs staff, teammates and friends for the cooperation she enjoyed while at Juve.

“Thank you to all @JuventusFCWomen players, staff, @ritaguari, Stefano Braghin for the last 18 months. It’s been a journey. I will leave Italy with good memories and special achievements for new opportunities, ambitions and further happiness back in the UK,” she said

Sports lawyer Jake Cohen in a tweet in reaction to Eniola departure concluded that she came saw and conquered adding further “In just eighteen months, Eniola helped Juventus win three trophies and was the club’s leading scorer despite never having played in Italy before”

Eniola who made 102 appearances for England scoring 33 goals is not only passionate about football but also a qualified lawyer after studying law at the Brunel University, where she graduated with a First class degree in 2008. She emerged Chelsea Ladies Player of the Year in the 2014–15.
