Enugu Rangers set sights on CAF CL Group Stage

Enugu Rangers two goals hero, Bright Silas has affirmed that the Flying Antelopes have their sights glued on a place in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Pint sized Silas scored two first half goals in the sixth and 45th minutes of the first round, second leg tie to ensure that his club advanced to the playoff round where they await their foes on Friday when the draw is held in Cairo, Egypt.

Speaking ahead of the draw, Silas disclosed that they are not afraid of their would be opponents and that they are convinced they have what it takes to zoom to the group stage with the way they have approached the four games they have played thus far against Defence Force of Ethiopia and USM Bel-Abbes of Algeria.

“I want to say that we are not afraid of any team and that we are targeting a place in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup,” Silas told SportingLife.ng.

“I am grateful that God helped me to achieve something in only my first game for them on the continent. I hope to do better in subsequent games. We are waiting for our next opponents because we know that we are going to be victorious again.”
