Enyeama has problem with club owners–Lille coach

Lille coach Christophe Galtier, has explained why Nigeria international, Vincent Enyeama has been completely frozen out from the team.

He blamed it on a problem between the player and the club owners which he refused to disclose. But from his body language, Enyeama’s return may not be imminent.

“It’s a problem between Enyeama and the club, that’s the bottom line,” Galtier began, when questioned about the
keeper’s continuing absence.

“It’s a problem between the club management and Enyeama,” Galtier wrote on Twitter.

Without @vinpee Enyeama, @losclive have the fourth worst defensive record in @Ligue1_ENG, conceding 58 in 34 matches (Dijon worst with 66).

As recently as 2015-16, they had the second best defensive record in the division – conceding 27 in 38 (second behind PSG).

Enyeama hasn’t featured for Lille since he returned from a knee injury in November, and has been limited to turning out for the club’s B side.

Without him, Les Dogues have struggled, parting ways with Claudio Bielsa before appointing Galtier.
