Katsina United defender, Chinedu Ajanah has declared that his side’s readiness to ‘fight’ Enyimba for the three points at stake when both side clash in Aba on Wednesday.
The Changi Boys endured a difficult start to the current campaign off the pitch when their Coach Abdullahi Biffo was abducted by kidnappers but he has since returned and they have had a decent season so far.
However, they are hoping to pick their first away points of the season against the Aba Elephants in what could prove a tough task but Ajanah says him and teammates are ready for the fight.
“Enyimba is a big club and playing at Aba gives them a massive advantage but we are ready for the fight,” the newly invited U-23 defender told SportingLife.ng ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match-Day 10.
“I enjoy big games such as the Enyimba match and I hope the result favours us at the end of the day. We are playing well at the moment but have not picked any away points and hope that changes on Wednesday.”
Katsina United play in the Group A of the NPFL and current sit fourth with nine points, a place adrift Enyimba who sit third with 11points.
