With complete lockdown on football and other activities no thanks to the coronavirus, Enyimba’s defender Timothy Danladi is not one to allow boredom set in.
The former Kastina United strong man, revealed in a short clip uploaded by the two time Champions league winners that he is equally a fantastic dancer.
Armed with a stick used for local dance in Jalingo, Danladi who was enjoying the company of his sister in the two-man dance told whoever cares to listen “it is our culture”
Both were indeed very impressive with the clip accumulating a lot of views even as he spotted his Super Eagles jersey.
Dalandi it will be recalled made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2018 edition of CHAN in Morocco. Danladi, who while with Kastina United described himself as rugged defender, is a fan of Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, citing his fighting spirit as the major attraction towards the Spain international.
Danladi who interestingly was not with his teammates when their bus was attacked while returning from Adamawa after a league match however noted that the attack would have been prevented if the team had avoided night travel. He nonetheless thanked God when the incident happened that none of the lives of his teammates was lost in the ugly encounter.
“It’s bad to travel at that time,” he told ESPN then, “The state where we played was far away, it would have been good for us to have slept in Abuja or Enugu so that we’d have had peace of mind rather than this situation. “I feel bad and confused, but glory be to God that nobody got so badly injured”, he said
