EPL: Chelsea midfielder Zakaria delighted with chance to work with Makelele

Chelsea new boy, Denis Zakaria, has said he was delighted to work with club legend Claude Makelele.

Zakaria joined from Juventus in a loan deal on transfer deadline day in the summer.

While he has yet to get game time for the club, Zakaria hopes that he can prove his worth to his coaches and teammates in the coming weeks.

“I’ve spoken with him,” Zakaria stated about talking with club legend Makelele, per the Evening Standard.

“He is very funny, a very good guy.

“He is also a big legend and I will take any advice from him.

“He was in my position and knows how to play it, so I will always take this advice.”
