EPL: Savage excited to join Ronaldo in Man Utd first team training

Charlie Savage was excited to join Cristiano Ronaldo in first team training at Carrington this week.

Savage, 19, was called up by manager Ralf Rangnick as Manchester United ramped up preparations for the final game of the Premier League season.

The Wales youth international is aiming to land a spot in United’s travelling squad for the away fixture at Crystal Palace on Sunday.

He is a defensive midfielder who has been a regular for Manchester United’s under-23 side this season, making 28 appearances at youth level in all competitions.

The big excitement for Savage was to get the chance to learn from Cristiano Ronaldo.
