Etebo: It feels great scoring the winning goal for Stoke City

Nigeria international, Oghenekaro Etebo has expressed his delight for getting the winning goal for Stoke City in Saturday’s clash against Blackburn Rovers which ended 1-0 at the Ewood Park.

Etebo who was in action for the entire 90 minutes went ahead to appreciate the fans for the massive support which he said contributed to their victory.

“Massive win away from home 3 points, feels great to get the winning goal 🥅 amazing support from the fans,” he tweeted after the match.

It was Etebo’s second goal for the Potters which was scored in the first half to earn Nathan Jones his third win in charge.

Stoke were unlucky not to extend their lead when Bojan missed his penalty at that stroke of halftime.

That notwithstanding Stoke have remained unbeaten in their last eight games.

He was voted man of the match in Stoke City’s 0-0 draw against Sheffield Wednesday at the Bet365 Stadium last week.
