Etebo to miss Getafe clash against Valladolid with muscle injury
La Liga side, Getafe have dropped Nigeria international Oghenekaro Etebo from its squad to face Real Valladolid on Tuesday due to a muscle injury.
This was confirmed by the club who announced its 21-man list for the trip to the Estadio Municipal Jose Zorrilla on Monday morning with the player not included.
“Oghenekaro Etebo and Timor David have muscle problems. We will see the extent of the injuries with tomorrow’s (today) tests,” he told a news conference on Saturday,” Getafe manager Jose Bordalas told a press conference.
The midfielder sustained the injury in the 69th minute after opening scoring against Eibar in last Saturday’s league match at home which ended 1-1.
It was his first goal in Spain for Getafe after making nine league appearances since his arrival from Stoke City this season.
