Everton express interest in Villarreal winger Chukwueze

 

Everton have expressed interest in Super Eagles  and Villarreal ace Samuel Chukwueze as their search for a new winger continues.

The 22-year-old made 40 appearances last season, scoring four and assisting eight as his team won the Europa League.

Chukwueze who was injured in Villarreal’s Europa victory over Manchester United but featured in both legs against Arsenal in the semi-finals, picking up a groin injury in the second leg is considered a perfect fit for Toffees desire ahead of new season.

The speed of the Nigeria international who has made 18 appearances for the Super Eagles is reportedly one of the reason he is being sort by the Goodison Park landlords who recently engaged Benitez following the departure of Carlos Ancelotti.
